LAPS Foundation strengthens the management team: Lorenzo Landini enters as general manager
Turin 15 September - LAPS Foundation, non-profit organization founded and chaired by Lapo Elkann, announces the appointment of Lorenzo Landini as General Manager.
The entry is part of a process of strengthening the managerial team whose goal is to allow the further implementation of existing projects and the possibility of developing new ones.
Lorenzo Landini, who boasts about 25 years of managerial experience gained abroad and in Italy in the fields of Mechanics and Automotive, has always been attentive to the issues of social responsibility and solidarity. Landini, who in 2014 was, together with Lapo Elkann, co-founder of Garage Italia Customs, is passionate about technology and innovative projects and has collaborated with various start-ups in this area.
Lapo Elkann said: "I am very happy with Lorenzo's entry, whom I respect managerially and humanly. Since its inception, and in particular in recent months, the Foundation has grown a lot and has developed many solidarity projects in Italy and abroad, thus managing to make its closeness felt to a growing number of individuals who are in a state of discomfort . The strengthening of the team, with also the creation of the figure of the Director General, will further expand the work of the Foundation committed to giving its support to minors and their families".
Also as part of the process of strengthening the structure, the LAPS Foundation confirmed its trust in the Secretary General Roberto Collura, who has successfully held this role since the birth of the Onlus in 2016, and has appointed the Board of Directors that will remain in office for the next 3 years. Collura will take care of the development of new projects and the implementation of existing ones.
